To train highly qualified specialists in the educational process MTUCI uses scientific facilities and training centers of leading telecommunications and IT companies. Thanks to this, students acquire real practical skills of working in the companies of the industry and get certificates confirming qualification.
The MTUCI Training Center was established in 2016. More than 10 thousand specialists have been trained and upgraded their qualifications at the Center. The capabilities of the MTUCI Training Center allow to conduct corporate training of specialists, advanced training courses, educational and info-consulting services in the field of information and communication technologies. Our innovative policy that meets the needs of customers and close cooperation with leaders in the ICT field have allowed us to achieve high results in the development of corporate and customer solutions.
The center was opened by Kaspersky Lab in November 2017 to provide educational and info-consulting services in the field of information security to students and faculty of the university, as well as representatives of the regional community.
On April 21, 2021, the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics (MTUCI) hosted the first round table dedicated to the development and implementation of educational programs in the field of quantum communications. The Center is equipped with: quantum key distribution systems, means of cryptographic protection of information, scientific and educational complex for studying quantum communications and photonics, as well as devices for generation, registration, detection and control of radiation power.
The monobrand industrial robotics laboratory of the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics (MTUCI), created on the basis of KUKA industrial manipulators with the help of Inspair, a supplier of specialized technical solutions, has started training students and conducting research work. The laboratory allows students and teachers to conduct scientific and engineering research works and demonstrate their results, create customized software and hardware solutions for real production tasks.
The department includes the laboratory "Digital Processing of Television Signals", the research department "Digital Television and Video Informatics", the project department and the "Acoustic Center".
The laboratory is designed to form students' competencies in the field of techniques and technologies of television content production, metrology in television and organizational processes in the creation of television programs. Studio unit is designed in such a way that it allows to create a workflow that is fully analogous to that in professional television production, provides the possibility of creating a program with multi-camera shooting live on air in virtual scenery.
The Radio Monitoring Center is designed to maximize the practical use of all theoretical knowledge obtained by students during their studies. The Center is a set of highly qualified specialists in the field of wireless communication systems and unique equipment, allowing to make the educational process of future engineers as interesting as possible, and most importantly, to immediately apply the acquired knowledge in practice, to learn and gain skills on the example of real signals and wireless communication systems of different purposes in real time.
The 5G-6G Center is not just a place where you can try new technologies, but a unique platform for research, innovation and development of the future world of communications:
Advantages:
MTUCI laboratory is developing a fiber optic welding simulator: in virtual reality there is no risk of damaging expensive equipment, so a virtual environment can and should be used for training and education.
For comfortable interaction with the virtual environment, the laboratory is constantly updating its equipment. For example, the powerful and productive SteamVR helmet uses the latest and most accurate methods of motion tracking: laser rangefinders scan the space in search of special reflectors on the helmet and controllers. Another helmet, Oculus quest 2, is designed for mobile applications and does not require a PC connection. MTUCI laboratory involves not only specialists, but also students of our university in working on projects. Students learn to create virtual environments and work in them, they improve their skills and gain new knowledge in practice.
Thanks to the training complexes developed by the experts of the Infotecs Group of Companies and equipped with the cyberpolygon, MTUCI students have an opportunity to undergo practice-oriented training in conditions that are as close to real life as possible, using the latest domestic equipment. They will have access to the ViPNet "Network Protection" training and methodological complex, a unique training complex based on the ViPNet QSS quantum-cryptographic key generation and distribution system, as well as the Ampire cyber range (developed by Perspective Monitoring, a member of the Infotecs Group of Companies).
ViPNet information protection products and solutions are widely used to protect information in the infrastructure of government authorities and major enterprises in various industries of the Russian Federation, including critical information infrastructure (CII) facilities. Specialists in the design and operation of secure information systems using ViPNet information protection tools are always in demand on the labor market. With the help of ViPNet training and methodological complexes, MTUCI students will learn the basics of building VPN virtual private networks and the principles of operation of basic cryptographic information protection systems (IPS).
MTUCI Center for Artificial Intelligence is engaged in theoretical and practical work in most areas of modern AI. The main area of the Center's work is computer vision - development of modern intelligent video analytics systems (Multiple Object Tracking (MOT), optimization of object detection and segmentation, re-identification of faces, etc.). In addition to computer vision, practical development in the field of audio analytics and natural language processing (chatbots, speech recognition) is underway.
In addition to practical development, a number of theoretical studies are underway in the field of data augmentation using gan/stable diffusion, the field of reinforcement learning for industrial robotics, the field of unmanned transportation (augmentation, digital certification, integration of unmanned transportation into smart city systems), and the application of AI in agricultural technology.
The center has job opportunities - internships for students who want to get acquainted with the main vector of work in the field of AI, and full-fledged positions of development engineers to participate in all of the above projects.
