International Relations Department

The department organizes international cooperation of the university with educational institutions and public organizations of foreign countries.

The main functions of the department:

• development of contracts, work programs and work plans of the university for cooperation with higher educational institutions, research centers, organizations and firms of foreign countries;
• organization of reception of foreign representatives: planning the dates and programs for admission to MTUCI of foreign specialists, delegations, employees of diplomatic services, graduate students, interns, students (for short-term training);
• organization of foreign business trips for faculty, staff and students;
• development of joint educational programs with foreign partner universities;
• planning of MTUCI international scientific and technical cooperation activities.

Department of International Programs and Projects

The department coordinates the work of the university in international organizations such as the International Telecommunication Union, the Universal Postal Union, the European Union, the Regional Commonwealth in the field of communications, etc.

The main functions of the department:

• organization of the university's participation in competitions for the implementation of international programs and projects, preparation of contracts, memorandums and other regulatory documents for the implementation of projects, support of ongoing projects;
• interaction with international organizations in order to prepare and implement international programs and projects (EC, ITU, UPU, ICAO, IEEE, ETSI, RCC, MAC, etc.);
• representation of the university in international organizations, national and international bodies for interaction with international organizations;
• selection of experts to work with international organizations;
• preparation of business trips for university employees to international organizations (formation and approval of the composition of delegations, development of terms of reference for a business trip);
• providing university departments with information on international programs, projects and grant support schemes for their implementation.

Department for Work with Foreign Students

The department for work with foreign students deals with the organization of foreign citizens admission to study at the university, monitoring progress, migration registration, medical services, documentation support throughout the entire period of study for an additional general education program (preparatory department), in bachelor's, master's, postgraduate studies and on an internship.

The functions of the department are:

• organization of recruitment of foreign students;
• organization of training for foreign citizens at the preparatory department;
• documentary support for the training of foreign students in terms of compliance with the legislation of the Russian Federation on the recognition of documents on education, migration registration and control over compliance with the Federal Law "On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation";
• registration of contracts for the training of foreign students;
• resettlement of foreign students in the hostel;
• organization of medical services for foreign students;
• maintaining personal files of foreign students;
• organization and holding of mass events with foreign students (tours, visits to museums, parties, etc.);
• organization and interaction with the Associations of MTUCI graduates in the CIS countries near, contacts with foreign MTUCI graduates.
